14-20/7 WEEKLY ROUNDUP OF LEARNINGS FROM TEACHER LU XIA
The no. 1 reason for all family relationship conflicts (and a simple way to fix)
From Teacher Lu Xia’s over 30 years of experience counselling families facing strained relations, the key factors she realised is:
- The parties in the relationship looking at the problem and situation only from their own perspective.
- Issues with the way both parties communicate and express themselves.
- A mutual lack of understanding between both parties.
In the case of parent-children relationships, although both parties have their own fault in causing the relationship tension, the origin of the problem often lies with the parents.
Majority of parents look at issues solely from their perspective, standing on moral high ground to manage their children, control their children, sometimes even threatening their children—wanting their children to live their lives according to their expectations.
So to all the parents reading this, don’t be greedy, don’t compare and expect your children to be like other children!
And to any children reading this who’re experiencing the same, understand that end of the day your parents do the things they do out of love for you. Empathise with them.
In Teacher Lu Xia’s latest book, The Power Within: Unlocking A High Potential Energy Life, she shared that if both parties in any relationship can switch perspectives, consider each other’s feelings, and approach, analyse, and resolve issues from the other’s point of view, I believe their marriage and family life will be harmonious and blissful.
Whenever any relationship problem arises, engage in more self-reflection, look for your own shortcomings and seek answers from within.
Does Grounding Really Work?
For context to those who do not know what grounding is, it refers to the practice of walking barefoot on soil, grass or sand as a way to release negative energy in one’s body into the ground, through connection to the Earth.
Teacher Lu shares an important disclaimer that firstly, one must understand that there are a multitude of spiritual schools of thought, each with their own practice. As long as a practice and path suits you and helps you, it’s the best FOR YOU. Most importantly, one has to exercise clear judgement, discernment and analysis, and not blindly follow trends!
From Teacher Lu’s energy studies point of view, our feet contains an acupoint (the Yong Quan) where energy can be absorbed or expelled. When walking barefoot on the soil, we can indeed absorb the positive Yang energy from nature and detox negative energy through our Yong Quan acupoint via this way.
However, it’s not beneficial in every single context. Here are certain situations where doing grounding is not recommended:
- Ladies having menses should not do grounding. This is because during menses, the energy circulation through a lady’s 7 chakras is more active to aid in detoxification—hence the flow of menses blood. During this period, the energy circulation at areas such as the Yong Quan acupoint is also more active and in the case of ladies with menses, it might result in vital energies circulating out of the body through the Yong Quan when one is doing grounding.
- Do not do grounding at or near cemeteries, columbariums and related areas. This is because the negative energy is stronger in these areas so it might cause one to absorb the negative energy when stepping barefoot on the ground.
- Do not do grounding during rainy nor cloudy weather.
- Do not do grounding after consuming alcohol nor the day after.
- After sex, do not do grounding.
All in all, one must understand that every spiritual practice has to be applied in ways fitting of a person’s context. In the case of grounding, one shouldn’t just be fixated on the detoxification properties of grounding, but understand that we can absorb and release both negative and positive energy through the same practice for different scenarios!
Health Tips for Ladies Having Menses
Menses is a process where ladies detox negative energy and toxins from their body. During this period their bodies tend to be weaker as they are exhausting energy during this process. On top of proper dietary and lifestyle habits to aid in detoxification, here is a practice that can be employed.
During menses, it’s good to get more sunlight to absorb the positive Yang energy from the sun. Specifically, you’ll want to sun your belly, your cervical spine (neck) and upper back.
This will improve blood and Qi circulation in the body, further promoting detoxification while elevating Yang energy to mitigate energy loss during this period.
During menses, avoid being caught in the rain. If you’re drenched, it could cause harm to your kidneys, heart health and vital energies.
The Group of People Most Susceptible to Spirit Disturbances
Broadly speaking, these are people who are low in positive energy and/or have too much negative energy, such as people who are sickly and with weak physical constitution.
When one’s positive energy levels are high, spiritual entities will stay far from oneself. However when one has too much negative energy, they easily attract such spiritual entities instead.
Moral of the story — detox negative energy and elevate positive energy regularly!
What is the Science Behind People Who Can Connect to Gods & Deities
In Teacher Lu Xia’s latest book, The Power Within: Unlocking A High Potential Energy Life, Teacher Lu introduces the concept of the 3 layers of the subconscious mind—the shallow subconscious, the middle subconscious, and the deep subconscious.
The shallow subconscious contains all the energy and information from our present lifetime. Childhood trauma for instance are essentially negative energy in one’s shallow subconscious.
The middle subconscious contains all the energy and information from all of our past lives and our family lineage. What Buddhists typically refer to as “past life karma” and “ancestor karma” are essentially middle subconscious energy.
And the deep subconscious contains the energy of the entire universe—past, present and future, all of existence, and humanity’s countless lifetimes. It is the purest state, free from negative energy and pollution, akin to the Christian’s heaven or Buddhist’s western pure land.
The energy and information of the different Gods and deities are all within the universe and so accessible to every one of us through our deep subconscious.
For people who dream of deities sending them messages, and for spiritual practitioners who have the gift of connecting to these higher beings, they are essentially connecting to the energy and information in the deep subconscious.
How then does one connect to the deep subconscious? The process of which is laid out in this latest book of Teacher Lu’s — detoxing negative energy, strengthening positive energy, reshaping the ego and fulfilling the Way of Humanity.
Unlocking and utilising the energy and wisdom of the subconscious will be a trend and essential step in the progress of the human civilisation. Only when one is able to unlock their subconscious, will their life potential energy elevate, their career flourish, and their goals and dreams be achieved.
